It's like stepping into a time machine from an earlier era in Tucson. This place has been a staple for Mesquite grilled steak for decades, and is certainly worthy of your attention if you are an enthusiast. It is certainly something that you need to take in at least once especially if you are a Tucson native. The mood here is pleasant and the people are calm. There is history on the walls everywhere you look, and photographs of many celebrities who have come for a meal.

I’m from Virginia and this was the best steak I’ve ever had! It was cooked perfect and the sides were just as delicious! We split the 32oz porterhouse and loved every bite! The service was fantastic, atmosphere very comfortable, and the restaurant was very clean.

Steak was perfectly prepared ( we shared a 32oz porterhouse)! Salad, potatoes, toast and even the beans were amazing. Servers were awesome. I only wish I could take this place back to the east coast with me.
