The workers are always so sweet and have a great attitude, so much that I’m writing a review about it. They always are going above and beyond too.

Eegees is an Arizona classic. For some reason the corporate office decided to cheap out on their ingredients and the quality suffered. This time however I noticed the quality was higher than their new normal. In fact it was excellent. Would go back again.

I've been eating eegees my whole life. The new owners have watered down the flavors and increased the prices. Everything is so subpar to what it was. Not worth the money now.

Eegees is one of many landmark places we visit when we come back home to Tucson. It's always a special treat to snap some pics and enjoy a great sandwich and grab a flavor of the month. It's always 5 star worthy until today. I just left the Pantano/Speedway location and had to write this so that we can make sure your employees handle situations better. As I was telling the very nice young man behind the counter my name, I had to repeat myself because a small tornado of an employee interrupted us during our transaction. She proceeded to stomp her way to a table behind me and aggressively snatched a bag of fries from a man who had a small issue with them. As she stormed back, she stopped and berated the young man behind the counter, "next time you hear food in the window, you need to pull it, the man at that table is telling me his fries are cold and now I HAVE TO GO BACK AND MAKE MORE!" A few seconds later, I see a young man with headphones on chatting with the gentleman with the fry issue. He told the man that the young (tornado) girl would be back out to speak with him. The tornado, fully armed with an attitude, says, "so you needed to speak with me"? The man told her that he didn't appreciate how aggressively she ripped those fries from him, he was simply lifting them up to hand them over. She snatched them and proceeded to unleash fury on him and the kid behind the counter and it caught all of our attention. The only words this girl knows how to say and say often is "I'm sorry you feel that way". Didn't matter what anyone said, she continued over and over at nauseam "I'm sorry you feel that way". I walked over (couldn't help myself) and told the girl "listen, this is an easy and helpful suggestion", "next time you have an issue, you simply reprimand in private, praise in public ". She told me that she didn't reprimand anyone, I had to correct her and tell her word for word what I heard. She proceeds to tell me "I'm sorry you feel that way". I threw it right back at her with "I don't feel any way, this isn't a "feelings" thing here, this is very much how you're conducting yourself thing". As I walked out the door, she said "sorry", I told her I'm not the one she needs to apologize to, it's the kid behind the counter. She didn't want to hear it. Whatever, this young girl really needs to get her emotions and her attitude in order. Being rude and then telling others "it's how they feel" isn't going far with this one. The kid with the headphones didn't really have any experience with customers either. I will end with, my sandwich was amazing and FOM was great. Please get your employees to understand that mistakes happen and it isn't the end of the world. Little Miss tornado needs to calm down and get her emotions in order or she's not going to make it. And I'll add: I did hear the kid behind the counter tell the girls in the window that he'll get to the food as soon as he's done filling eegees for customers. Little miss T could have delivered those since she had time to stomp around afterward. His communication was on point, the three in the kitchen need to rotate delivery if they see it's busy out front, especially if it's going to create a firestorm. Thank you and see y'all next visit
