I absolutely LOVE this recipe, sans ONE thing. They use a poultry and pork dog in place of 100% beef and it made ALL the difference. I understand costs, but a crispy all-beef dog would have made my review a 5.Oscar Myer vs. Ball Park. IYKYK.
The hot dog stand is located in a liquor store parking lot with plenty of parking. There are picnic tables under a tent if you choose to dine. Cash or Zelle are accepted.
I came here for a traditional Sonoran hot dog. The bun is toasted similarly to a lobster roll and I appreciate how it was cut to not have the toppings fall off. I really enjoyed the combination of condiments and toppings.

Stopped here after a hike in the Sweetwater Preserve! Great lunch after hiking! Sonoran dogs with all the toppings were delicious. Even better than the “famous” place downtown. Do bring cash, they also take Zelle or you can get cash back after a purchase at the liquor store next door. No credit cards! Friendly, helpful staff. Try it!
