Really good airport food. Quite surprising

Way overpriced but it's an airport restaraunt so they gotcha. Food was ok, small servings but tasty. The burger i ordered could have used iceberg lettuce but they put the green wilted type. Fries were good but not much taste. My wife ordered the chimichanga and it was good but small serving. The waitress seemed to busy to really be attentive as we had to walk our cups to the bar tender to refill our sweet tea and lemonade. The waitress said they had military discount but I didn't see that when we got the bill. All in all it is like one of the only places to have lunch at this end of the airport. No wait for a table was a plus.

Update, my wife and I both got heartburn from the food and upset stomach, downgrading this to 2 stars.

A great restaurant at the Tucson International Airport on the B Concourse. Nice atmosphere to lounge and relax as you wait for your flight. You can even enjoy a drink at the bar there.

Went back with out of town guest.I had not been back for over 15 years. It was a fantastic experience. Food was excellent. We started with a share of Queso Fundido with chile & chorizo. My friend had never had this and loved it.It was much better than others I have tried around town. Enchiladas were great.I had the special Carne Seca plate and he had the seafood.a few Mexican beers and we had no room for dessert. The 2 salsas were both excellent I poured all the red on my Enchiladas. 10 of 10 folks .Made a yelp reservation and all was perfect. a patio table would have been fun been sun & 80s kept us inside taking in all the character of the old home.

Araby made me laugh so hard that a nearby patron started to give me the Heimlich maneuver thinking that I was choking, breaking several of my ribs in the process. I settled out of court for several thousand dollars and got my Cadillac Margarita and shredded beef enchilada for free! And people said I was crazy for having my wedding at an airport bar! It won't be my last!

Locally famous, this place has excellent Mexican food, tons of seating, and a long history in the area. They serve traditional local favorites, plus the typical Mexican food dishes. The outside seating is fun, but they have inside seating as well.

Charro is one of the few places that is a must for anyone visiting Tucson. Would certainly go again.

It's a restaurant inside airport security, so you can use it when you depart.
Since it opens early in the morning, there were quite a few customers (5:30am).
Please note that breakfast is a special menu.
The burrito is mostly eggs, and the quantity is quite large.
It might be good if you want a quick and filling meal.
I was able to sit comfortably and enjoy my meal, so I was very satisfied.
I think the other reasons for the low ratings are also due to the time zone.

Avoid this place!! Sadly I will not frequent El Charro anymore not the airport or downtown. The Tucson airport has the WORST service, that is if you get service at all. The wait staff are rude and honestly too busy with their own gossip to tend to their customers. This morning I tried to get some food before my flight and I sat at to bar for over 10 mins. It was quite early in the morning and there were only two customers including myself. After 10 mins of being completely ignored I left and opted for Hudson’s. It’s very sad El Charro has terrible customer service. I won’t spend my money or recommend this place to anyone. Awful experience!
