Mark is awesome! His Bourbons, brandy and…shhhh… secret concoctions in the back… were all amazing! My wife and I had a blast hanging out. So glad we follow @rvwhiskeyreviews on youtube. Micah led us to an amazing experience with Mark and the gang at Flying Leap.
The wine here is delicious and the service good, however the wine tasting was very stingy for the money, barely a mouthful of wine per tasting for $30. My partner asked for a glass of wine and was given it in a plastic glass. Plus a bottle of the Flying Leap Sangiovese wine we had purchased elsewhere was twice the price here.However I do recommend the chilli wine, and union. The whites and roses are also great.
As a frequent visitor to the Oro Valley area I’ve always been told to visit AZ wine country. We’ll this trip we made it happen! We searched a few places; however, visiting on a Tuesday not many places were open but thank goodness Flying Leap was. Luckily we found Flying Leap and Mark was exceptionally accommodating and gave us a private tasting of both the wines and spirits. Every single wine was made from their own vineyards and Mark knew every detail about each one of them....
