It was 20 minutes before they closed and they told me they couldn’t serve me. If you’re gonna stop serving 20 minutes before you close, you might wanna change your closing time.

I love everything about this place!
It’s decorated so zen and simple and very clean…The waitstaff is so friendly, efficient and lovely.
The food couldn’t be fresher or tastier. They don’t skimp with the meat and vegetables…we enjoy the menu very much and always leave satisfied and there are always leftovers, they are very generous with the portions!! Finally, it’s quiet and easy to have conversations ❣️

We ordered a takeout order of Mongolian beef, a curry chicken dish, salt and pepper shrimp, and dumplings last evening from this Golden Dragon. On the good side, The chicken curry was OK with a very mild curry and the chicken was tender. The dumplings were exactly like store-bought dumplings, but they were fine. The shrimp were OK, not chewy. On the not so good side, the Mongolian beef was grey and in color not the normal black coloration from whatever sauces Chinese restaurants usually use, and the meat was extremely tough and chewy. One bite, and we threw the rest away. The cost was average, not inexpensive, but not overpriced. We would not go back.

Since we moved to Tucson 14 yrs ago, this has always been our only choice for Chinese. The last time we ordered it looked and tasted like it was hastily thrown together. We thought maybe it was just an off day for them. I ordered take out lunch today and we were absolutely disappointed. $34 bucks for 2 very small Styrofoam trays. The rice was steamed at most no fried and the texture was that of microwave rice...yep I've tried that shortcut. Granular and mealy. Both the beef and broccoli and shrimp and vegetables came with chunks of raw vegetables. RAW...no tender crisp about them. I paid the extra for the Wonton soup and honestly...it was disgusting! Flavorless broth with a little cabbage thrown in and THE WORST wonton I have ever had! In addition, I ordered an extra egg roll appetizer, which turned out to be 2 finger size vegetable rolls.
We're done here. This place is circling the drain in our opinion. Charging high prices for far less than the value of portion or flavor offered.

I have eaten here before. I will admit I liked it in the past and staff were friendly when I came in for lunch.

I recently tried to call them and ask the manager about a catering/larger order for a school classroom of around 15 and the person who answered just told me “I don’t know when the manager or owner might be around. Now is not a good time” then pretty much hung up. Not a can you call another time, not a let me call you another time, not even a let me find out but now’s now a good time. I got no problem calling back if you have a busy rush or something but dang. 😂

Maybe your food service as a dine in customer would still be okay like I remember but this was disappointing. I called you guys hoping for a catering because I specifically liked your food and service in the past. Thanks!

I love this place! Everything is really tasty. I began working nearby and this is one of my staple go to places now. The owner and wife are very kind. It’s the perfect neighborhood Chinese restaurant AND they’re prices are reasonable!

We had not eaten at this restaurant in several years, but it was just as good as we remembered! Each of the entrées had a wonderful and unique flavor!
