Golden House Chinese Fast Food

Ordered the meat combo as an appetizer, was so sad, when I opened up the box and moved one of the ribs, to find a long black hair intertwined with the shredded cabbage. Couldn't eat anything in there. Wasted $20. Won't order from here again.

Delicious food! Very family oriented! They were so nice they helped me jump my car that broke down right in front of the restaurant!

This place is the best dang Chinese food I’ve ever had, not only that. They can make gluten free on most their plates. And it taste just as good. Seriously, I could eat this every single night. Me and the hubby love it! We drive across town just to eat there. Lady who owns the place is super sweet also.

We ordered take out tonight from Golden House and the food ranged from bland to awful. I'm not sure what changed because we've eaten and enjoyed their food many times before, but everything was different this time. The sauces were congealed and had no flavor. The fried rice was clumpy and grey. The pork slices were an unappealing clay color I've never seen on pork before. They were watery, almost like they'd been boiled, and they were either dried out, tough, flavorless meat or whole slices of rubbery fat. They were so bad, I hesitate to even share them with our dogs. We also ordered lettuce wraps. We did not get the vegetarian version, but might as well have as there was almost no chicken in the filling. The best part was the hoisin sauce. This was a shocking $100 dinner for three people - our fault for ordering from an older menu, but they have drastically raised their prices in the past few months. I am so disappointed, but, based on the quality of everything we ordered being different and way off, we will not be back.

We ordered for pick up for a group of 10 + people. The owner helped us with our menu selections and she is friendly and very knowledgeable. This was our first time ordering from them. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the selections we chose. No MSG and we had no issues with ordering dishes to accommodate food allergies.

I have an anaphylaxis toward meat, and ALL by products, and have been vegan for 3 years due to an illness. I have not been able to eat out at any restaurants in 3 years due to cross contamination of foods. We saw this healthy Chinese restaurant and I tried it. The owner was awesome. She not only explained how they would cook the food, the ingredients used, and the care they took to keep cross contamination down she had great customer service. I loved the food, I had vegetable rice noodles. I can't wait to try all the vegan dishes. Finally a restaurant I can go to and not have a panic attack wondering if I'll be sick. THANK YOU GOLDEN HOUSE!!!!!

I love eating from Golden House! In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in Tucson! My favorites are the Sesame Chicken, any of the Lo Meins and Mongolian Beef. Eating it there while it's fresh is the best option but its also great food to go!

I hate to write negative reviews, but this was just really disappointing when we were craving Chinese. We got a pick up order (they were nice and quick) and were happy with the pricing until we saw the portion sizes. I’ve never had such small amounts from a Chinese restaurant before, we’ve never not had half left over after a meal at other locations. There was maybe a 3/4-1 cup of meat max in each order. We ordered the sesame chicken and Mongolian beef, which is what we usually get at any Chinese place we go to. The Mongolian beef was a very different recipe than were used to and was so spicy our children couldn’t eat any of it of we did not enjoy it either. Overall and unfulfilling meal experience for us and though we prefer to eat healthy and well for this one we would have rather gone to Panda Express and at least gotten a good portion size and typical Mongolian beef.

Advertised as “healthy” so we tried it. Absolutely horrible. Rude staff, overpriced for portion sizes and lack of significant meat in the entrees, which tasted like soy sauce. Eggrolls were tiny spring rolls and the sweet and sour sauce was thick and pure orange pink, looked like thick jelly and definitely prepackaged. The rice was dry, and you get charged extra for it. My husband always orders Mongolian beef and he said this had a weird taste like he’s never experienced before. We were the only patrons there around 1 pm which was a red flag for a “highly rated” restaurant. We’ll never go back.

Had great time dining at this restaurant that serves fresh delicious healthy Chinese food. Ordered chicken fried rice, kung pao veggies, sesame chicken and broccoli chicken dishes. The chef was able to prepare these meals using gluten free ingredients. Both food and service were outstanding.

Golden House has some of the best healthy and gluten free Chinese food I’ve ever had! Here for the holidays, all the way from chilly Massachusetts. We went on Christmas Day per tradition and although they were down servers and cooks, they were accommodating, kind, warm, and welcoming! Thank you so much for taking such good care of the Tucson community! With much love and gratitude!!

The food at this restaurant is wonderful. I love that they make it as a healthier version.

When they are very busy, the weight can be quite long, but it is worth the wait.
