I have always taken it to go but it looks like a friendly inviting place to dine in also

I almost always choose vegetable dishes and there's plenty of menu to explore

The most unusual and disappointing experience. The waitress was extremely rude when I asked for a simple accommodation, denied my request completely, and I ended up not getting anything at all. The rest of my group received bare minimum service with a rude attitude. Our drinks sat empty most of the meal and we were hardly checked on, despite being one of only two tables in the restaurant. What made it worse is that I watched the waitress allow multiple accommodations and give overly friendly service to the other table. I left feeling uncomfortable and unsure if this was discrimination or just poor service, but either way it was unacceptable. The rest of my group said the food was very underwhelming especially for the price.

Let me tell you this place is IT. This is the Chinese Restaurant we’ve ever been to. They are so kind and extremely Vegan friendly. Everything we had was perfectly cooked and delivered to the table at the appropriate time. Let them know you’re vegan and they’ll make sure there is no cross contamination. The owner and staff were very accommodating and friendly . It’s now our goto place when it comes to Chinese dining. Highly recommend to our Vegan friends in the area or if you’re driving through it’s a must stop. 🌱🌱🌱🌱

I have to say I was disappointed for the first time. I went for the lunch specials and understand the portions are average and not dinner size. The issue I was so shocked to experience was what I ordered. I ordered Sesame Chicken, this was not good it was like the stringy and maybe fatty small pieces and chewy. I opened one and was like where is the chicken? I have always ordered this and there was always good chicken pieces that was soft and cooked and was great. So disappointed almost drove back, however i was at work and decided maybe they read this, and they can share with the cooks. I may still go back one day again and give it another shot.

Absolutely loved the Teriyaki Chicken and Crab Puffs. My wife loved the Singapore Noodles with a mixture of proteins. This was our first visit. Our second visit, I tried the Sesame Chicken. The sauce tasted good, but was a bit too strong for chicken preparation, which was chicken strips that were a bit tough and chewy. Chicken Nuggets would likely make the difference in making this a more enjoyable dish. My wife had the Orange Chicken, which DID have Chicken Nuggets, but the sauce was still a bit too strong. We always love the Crab Puffs though. On our third visit, we plan to try something different again, as Golden House has very robust menu, so we'll keep trying different dishes until we figure out which ones are our favorites. So far, the Teriyaki Chicken and Singapore Noodles, and of course the Crab Puffs are all winners.

Ordered the meat combo as an appetizer, was so sad, when I opened up the box and moved one of the ribs, to find a long black hair intertwined with the shredded cabbage. Couldn't eat anything in there. Wasted $20. Won't order from here again.

Delicious food! Very family oriented! They were so nice they helped me jump my car that broke down right in front of the restaurant!

This place is the best dang Chinese food I’ve ever had, not only that. They can make gluten free on most their plates. And it taste just as good. Seriously, I could eat this every single night. Me and the hubby love it! We drive across town just to eat there. Lady who owns the place is super sweet also.

We ordered take out tonight from Golden House and the food ranged from bland to awful. I'm not sure what changed because we've eaten and enjoyed their food many times before, but everything was different this time. The sauces were congealed and had no flavor. The fried rice was clumpy and grey. The pork slices were an unappealing clay color I've never seen on pork before. They were watery, almost like they'd been boiled, and they were either dried out, tough, flavorless meat or whole slices of rubbery fat. They were so bad, I hesitate to even share them with our dogs. We also ordered lettuce wraps. We did not get the vegetarian version, but might as well have as there was almost no chicken in the filling. The best part was the hoisin sauce. This was a shocking $100 dinner for three people - our fault for ordering from an older menu, but they have drastically raised their prices in the past few months. I am so disappointed, but, based on the quality of everything we ordered being different and way off, we will not be back.

We ordered for pick up for a group of 10 + people. The owner helped us with our menu selections and she is friendly and very knowledgeable. This was our first time ordering from them. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the selections we chose. No MSG and we had no issues with ordering dishes to accommodate food allergies.

I have an anaphylaxis toward meat, and ALL by products, and have been vegan for 3 years due to an illness. I have not been able to eat out at any restaurants in 3 years due to cross contamination of foods. We saw this healthy Chinese restaurant and I tried it. The owner was awesome. She not only explained how they would cook the food, the ingredients used, and the care they took to keep cross contamination down she had great customer service. I loved the food, I had vegetable rice noodles. I can't wait to try all the vegan dishes. Finally a restaurant I can go to and not have a panic attack wondering if I'll be sick. THANK YOU GOLDEN HOUSE!!!!!
