This review is long overdue. Govinda’s is one of those rare places where the food feels like much more than just a meal.

Located within ISKCON Tucson, the food is prepared in the sattvic tradition and offered to Shri Krishna before it is served. There is a sense of care and positive intention in the entire experience, and the food always feels fresh, wholesome, nourishing, and made with heart.

Amazing vegan buffet (Wed-Fri) for $10 a person, the rest of the days is veggie buffet! It’s in a Krishna temple. It’s a very special sanctuary. We went there a few times and enjoyed. There’s a pretty pond and birds. Visit the Krishna shrine indoors that’s the next door, we had such a beautiful experience. Thank you.

A wonderful alternative to standard vegetarian / vegan fare. Usually vegetarian with extensive vegan options, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are 100% vegan options, a unique feature. Very reasonable prices and an excellent value for a buffet regardless.
