The concept of this spot is soooo cool and the decorations inside are spot on. This is a diner where you can watch cars being worked on in real time since it also functions as an auto shop! Hotrods is such a cool concept especially if you're into cars of course. Went with my husband (it's more his thing than mine) and he had the patty melt and I ordered the fried chicken avocado salad which was really good and refreshing. There's plenty to check out while you're here: the restoration shop, the pinball machines and the toolbox bar area. Overall it was a fun spot to visit.
Cool idea. Environment was fun. Food was ok…but over priced. We showed up at 5pm on a Sunday night. Only one party in front of us. Two more came in well after us. Took us over an hour to get our food…Philly sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and a wrap. All the other parties got their food before us. Cool idea…too bad it didn’t deliver on service. If food was about $3 cheaper per item it would have been priced right.
