Absolutely love love love Houlden's. A brilliant local gem with outstanding and delicious recipes that make the most wonderful pastries. Sweet and savory alike! The humans that run this place seem pretty great and you can tell from how much heart and love they put into their bakery and the food they share with us.

Whatever kind of "-vore" you are, you will not be disappointed...these are some of the best pastries I've ever had!I was fortunate to stumble upon this place while visiting from out of town. I had a lovely chat with one of the owners who talked me through their available items and how long they'd keep since I wanted to take some extra home ?The pastry dough is *chef's kiss*...just the perfect amount of flakiness and crunchiness... Nothing dry or boring about any of these desserts! I wish I lived closer and that there were more vegan bakeries like this!!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan

Just tasted some of the vegan pastries at a Loft Cinema fundraiser. OMG. So delicious and sinful and VEGAN. didn’t even feel overly full or have any animal fat indigestion. Soooooo delicious — and no butter ???
