We ordered a bunch of things at Houlden’s this morning, We’ve only tried a few things, but everything so far is delicious. We tried a chocolate hazelnut croissant and a chocolate cronut. We still have a number of other items to try out. They have a selection of savory items but we didn’t get any of those thinking we’d be going to lunch somewhere. That was a mistake! I definitely recommend this bakery as a stop while in Tucson!

These are hands down the best pastries I’ve ever had. And they are vegan!! You cannot miss this place if you’re in Tucson. The pastries are perfectly flakey, fresh, and they have a ton of unique options to choose from.
I am so grateful that such a wonderful and delicious VEGAN bakery exists like this! I only wish they were closer to where we live in Scottsdale. But they are not too far away that we can't escape to Tucson to snag such delectable treats! I'm talking about beautiful looking and tasting vegan croissants and otherworldly amazing treats to feast on. The owners are so kind and I love the hardcore/ death metal type music they play in the store. There are So many vegan treats...
