Lady taking orders today was very rude. Annoyed that one person in our group was taking a minute to decide. Annoyed that we asked for light ice after she filled the cup with ice. One of the drinks was undrinkable so we asked for something else and lady basically said “ingredients are listed on the board so too bad”….um it sounded great but then mixed all together those ingredients sucked. I ordered a different drink and had to pay for it (she gave me 20% off but it was still over $7) and I said well I guess I will take the other drink too (was going to give it to a homeless person) since I paid for it but it disappeared and I didn’t feel like engaging with them any more so I left. I told the lady who made the new drink thank you and she just stared at me. Never again. What a horrible way to start the day.

This place needs better customer service. The black lady is full of attitude. And it's not a race thing I'm also a black woman.. everyone else is extremely pleasant.
Horrible customer service the lady in the front taking the orders is so rude . Will never come back not recommending to anyone
Manager Alison is very rude. Under her management, there has been a huge turnover of workers. In just a few years, there have been dozens of workers come and go. Alison belittled and harassed an employee so much that he slapped her in the face and quit. Alison has now begun to be rude to customers like myself. For several weeks she has been argumentative with me. Recently I have been avoiding her, but this morning she demanded to be the cashier for my order. She then engaged in a needless argument with me. I asked her to stop, and just take my payment, but she did not stop. She continued arguing with me over and over again. I could not just leave because I had to pay. After I finally paid, I went to the security desk. As I was speaking to the security guard, Alison insisted on speaking with me. I told Alison that I did not want to speak with her, and she insisted several more times; at which point I had to threaten to call the police for Alison to back off and leave. The security guard herself even told me that Alison had once rudely taken a parking spot that the security guard had already paid for. Alison's workers routinely confide in customers that Alison is very hard to work for. Alison should not be a manager.

10 years ago this place was great. I would go to the library then eat lunch here or get a coffee. Prices were reasonable ($5 per sandwich) and the customer service was actually good. The last few years, the customer has gone down significantly. The women working there aren’t very friendly and they hate picking up the phone to take orders. They always get something wrong and if I use Uber Eats or any other service for take out, they get it done but not without them being rude about it. It seems everyone there hates people and hates working there, knowing very well their job is focused on customer service.

If I’m being charged $10 for an iced latte, I would expect the barista to at least brew the espresso fresh. Not give me some old espresso that has been sitting on the counter for who-knows-how-long. Espresso starts “turning” immediately after it is brewed, you have about 15 seconds to “save” it before it is bitter and stale.
Beautiful and cozy corner spot for a fresh & tasty breakfast or lunch. 10/10 would recommend. I ate the CBA & prickly pear iced tea.
