Doner kebab may remind you of gyros but it is quite different in its texture and marinade. I definitely prefer the flavor of these pitas over gyros due to many gyros can seem dry to me.

Delicious food. Plenty of generous portions. Mine was easily my dinner and then my lunch the next day. And quality food for sure. Definitely able to handle a big group with the Tucson Dining Club.

I recently had dinner for the first time at Istanbul and enjoyed it. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. I was worried when I saw the open floor plan, but it wasn't too loud. The Lemon Chicken soup is hands down the best I've had in Tucson so far. The rest of my meal was OK (chicken pita), but not as flavorful as I've come to expect. I will return and try something different next time.
