Not what it used to be.
Says they close at 10:30 and they're closed before 9. Seems like it happens a lot. Maybe update your hours on Google.
We ordered a large sashimi platter and several rolls. I enjoyed the variety of sashimi, and two of the three rolls were delicious. The third roll wasn't quite what I thought, but it was still tasty. I'll definitely return for more sushi!

This place has been so consistently good over the years. We've been going here a few times a year for a out 4 years. The sushi is always fresh, the staff are always wonderful. Even when there are issues they are quick to resolve. We usually dine in but we ordered take out recently and the quality was just as good.

The wife and I have eaten here several times now and it's always great. Brought the kids last time and they enjoyed the kids meal too. Depending on the time of day it's either quiet or it's a bubbling atmosphere of people. The owner makes all the sushi and it's excellent. I've been to 3 other sushi places in town and always end up back here.

We were seated by an unfriendly waitress, she didn’t give us plates napkins or utensils until after we received sushi. She didn’t refill our drinks. The menus were falling apart and the table was sticky. The food we were served wasn’t worth the price. I ordered sashimi but they were very small cuts of fish. I have been to other sushi restaurants in Tucson and they serve thick cuts of fish for a good price point. This was my first impression of Izumi and I will never go back.

Absolutely terrible experience at Izumi Sushi. First, I go to pick up my order, and they tell me they're closed—at 8:00 PM, even though their sign clearly says they close at 10:30 PM. Sketchy. Then, when I ask to place another order, suddenly they can make food? Make it make sense.
But the real kicker? On the way home, I notice the bag is leaking. Turns out the soup was EVERYWHERE—soaked through the bag, spilling all over my car. Like, do they even know how to package food? Who hands someone a dripping bag and thinks, yeah, this is fine?
Between the weird closing times, the bad service, and the absolute disaster of packaging, I won’t be coming back. If you like overpaying for a mess, be my guest.
Don't waste your time here go to RA Sushi! That place is so good, better service, better quality and care about their customers.

The entire restaurant smells like raw sewage. The menus were dirty and gross, and the service was bad. We left before we even got drinks.

We ordered take out. The food was ready 35 min after the time they said it should be ready. The server said: "sorry, I do not make the sushis!" Some of the sushis were of poor quality, especially items with eel or imitation crab. Presentation was sloppy. This is absolutely not a good restaurant. You should avoid.

They say they are open until 10:30, which is a shame because I was looking forward to spending a nice night with my man and having a nice dinner. When we got there at 9 something, they sign said they were open. Doors were unlocked, and even the hours on the door said till 10:30 but the waiter said they were closed and turned off the grill. Not only that, we passed them after eating somewhere else an hour later. THE SIGN STILL SAID THEY WERE OPEN!

Has a great meal here on a whim. Glad we went. Food was amazing. Service was great. A tad expensive for 4 people. But a few dollars extra is worth great sushi.

Used to be our favorite lunch place to go but they changed their hours and now only open for dinner. Guess we’re finding a new sushi lunch spot!
