Janet & Ray's Reviews
Shady business that prepares its food on the kitchen floor in buckets. They also freeze any food they do not sell that night, to be served again on a later date. Which is a major health code violation and also just really lazy. The owners constanly fight and bring their failing marriage problems into the business. Oh and they also refuse to pay their employees.
I would steer clear if I was you, unless you want freezer burnt floor fish. 🤢
They defrost all the meat and seafood they use directly on the floor in buckets. everything they don't serve gets frozen in gallon bags to serve you again weeks or months later, plus they don't mark any of the bags so you don't know when it's from. or how old the food actually is, it is very questionable. I was only there once and it made me want to never return ever again. it is way overpriced for everything to be frozen, you can microwave your own similar food at home.
Great service and great food! And my 6 year old loved the complimentary sugar cookies at our table. We’ll be back again, I want to try their brunch special next. Thank you Janet & Ray’s!
