This place is such a hidden gem. The restaurant has a cozy, family-owned atmosphere, and you can tell they put a lot of love into the food. I ordered the beef chow fun and shumai, and both were amazing. The chow fun had that perfect smoky wok flavor, the beef was tender, and the portions were huge. I live close, arriving home everything was still very hot,,!, THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT , the portions are large. Jewels is not fancy, however, some of the very best restaurant food in Tucson, hands down !,,, I am a trained schooled chef, you will absolutely not find better food in Tucson period !

Everything was cooked to order and served hot! The hot & sour soup and the egg drop with tomato and seaweed were fresh and flavorful. The entrees were well prepared too. Portions were a good size. This is a basic, straight forward diner. Simple and good.
