Everything was fabulous. We came here for the first time after having a bad experience somewhere else. Maddie got us a lovely table, Peyton was an excellent, attentive server and Justin the manager checked on us and made sure everything went smoothly. The prickly pear bbq sauce was amazing as were the mushrooms and filet!

The Cork has long been a favorite haunt of mine. I've eaten there a million times and it only gets better with each visit.Admittedly, I was a bit nervous when the new owners, Glenn and Sally, purchased the restaurant from Chef Jonathan. All worries were put to rest upon that first bite. I have been very pleased with the transition as the menu hasn't been dramatically altered and they've added some new menu items to discover. The atmosphere is amazing, the food and drinks are outstanding, and the service is top notch. Whether you live in Tucson or you're just visiting, The Cork simply can't be missed!

The bartender at this establishment was incredibly Rude! The host requested we grab a drink while waiting for our table. Food was great , but our initial interaction with the bartender was uncomfortable...

Review is below epilogue. (1 paragraph)Well, first I have to thank the negative nelly Karen reviewer from next door app. She bashed this place, and after asking her a few questions, I found that she never spoke to the staff about her not so pleasant experience.I made sure to tell her that all owners of restaurants, especially new owners, want their experience to be fantastic. So, to never leave unhappy, voice your concerns to the management so they can make it right, and make their restaurant better because eating local in this chain restaurant world, is paramount! We went there last night, restaurant was packed, and we were sat at our exact reservation time. ?We ordered some cocktails, which were delicious, albeit expensive, but not out of the range of any other similarly priced restaurant in Tucson.?We ordered the escargot, quesadillas and grilled romaine salad. All of which were on point and plated beautifully.?Our entrees were the strip, duck, filet, liver, ribs and chicken.(Yes, there was 6 of us!).My steaks temp was done perfectly, the garlic mashed were seasoned well and the vegetables were cooked nicely.?The duck was fabulous! We got the bbq on the side to dip instead of covering it.?The fillet, about expensive for 6 ounces in my opinion, was still fantastic with a great bordelaise sauce!?The blackened chicken was tasty I heard, but high on the blackened spicy side.?The ribs were gone before I could get a taste! Enough said.?The liver and onions were not a favorite amongst the table, except for the person who ordered it, for obvious reasons. lol ?The staff was super attentive and friendly, and when our appetizers were taking a bit too long, our server kept us informed on why, and she treated us with respect. ?No desert, as we were too full from dinner. All in all, for a packed Saturday evening, they really hit a home run with the whole experience!Congratulations to the new owners, you’re doing a great job! Keep getting better and better!

Killer ribs, fatty but held together, great crust and seasoning. Amazing raspberry sweet BBQ sauce. Salty garlicky mashed potatoes. Veggies were good too.

Bison was overcooked. Prime rib had little flavor, and so lean it was dry. Restaurant was noisy because the bar was loud-no ambience.

I have been going to the Cork for more than 40 years. I started going when it was the Cork and Cleaver, then Jonathan's Cork and now it is simply The Cork. We went a few day's after Valentine's Day and when we got our meal I was shocked to see that the portions were way less then they ever have been, however that was not the bad part... When we got the bill I was even more shocked!!!!! We were charged $4 for the bread, $14 for a glass of mediocre house wine, and $40 for a small piece of Halibut. I sent a letter to the new owner's and they have not responded. Having been a former business owner.. I think that is very poor business practice as the customer's are who pays the bills. Needless to say I will never go back. It is VERY disappointing!!!

The atmosphere was very cozy and great for a date spot, however I was highly disappointed in the food as it had pretty great reviews. We dined in the day before Valentine's Day, so it is possible the kitchen was lacking due to high volume of customers. My partner liked his cocktail, but the iced tea I was served definitely tasted old. The appetizer of the calamari steak was very good I will say! Probably the best part of the meal. My entree of salmon was served and I was left wondering why there was no taste whatsoever to it, as it looked like it had just been thrown into an oven and taken out to be plated. Dessert redeemed the meal, as the lemon cake was light, fluffy and perfect. As much as I wanted to love this place, I don't think I will be back.

The food and service were great. The atmosphere was good but a little loud for fine dining in my opinion.
