We didn’t even get to try this place. We had a party of ten and they refused us. They had plenty of open tables but still refused us. They lost my business.

I really wanted to like this place. The shrimp tempura was really good—crisp, perfectly cooked, served with the right sauce—and the seaweed salad was combined with the vinegared cucumber. That worked well.
But what’s with the nigiri sushi? There was three times as much fish as rice, and the slices were way too thick. The tiny serving of rice also didn’t stick together appropriately. So the ratio, which should allow you to put a whole piece of nigiri in your mouth at once, was just too far off. Sushi is about balance: the warm rice to the cold fish, the ocean-y taste of the fish to the vinegar-sugar-salt-seasoned rice. The equal amounts of both, so you can have a single, perfectly balanced bite. Oh well. That’s just wasn’t the case here.
The staff worked their butts off, running around getting everyone served, so I have to give them lots of credit.

Absolutely amazing. Better than RA sushi, which is my fav sushi spot. Food was fresh timely and service was excellent. Also, reasonably priced.
