I just got takeout for the first time from here. The food was spectacular , but they put take out orders in the front of the store on this table with your name on it. I walked in and they asked how many in my party , and I said , I have an order for pick up. And that was my name was john. I picked up my takeout order. And the guy immediately rushed at me from behind the counter and started grilling me with questions about what my phone number was and stuff like that.. until his coworker came out and let him know it was alright...I'm guessing , it's because i'm a black guy and he thought I was stealing.... Sushi was great. But I won't be back... Either develop a better takeout system or put somebody up there with better people skills... Because There's no Shortage of sushi shops in tucson. Thanks though.
The sushi was great but the atmosphere could use some help.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal with truly authentic Japanese cuisine. Amazing service. The gyoza and tempura are fantastic! They were accommodating for our gluten free restrictions too.

Tried Kazoku for the first time this evening. Got a variety of rolls, sashimi, udon and an appetizer. I was impressed with the quality. Up to now, I would tell people that Sachiko is my favorite sushi place so far, but Kazoku might take that over. Will definitely be back. I appreciate the simple online ordering for picking up food. I wish more sushi places would follow their example.

Restaurantji Recommends
My dad and I came here for like a dinner-lunch type thing, and it was impeccable. I had ordered the dragon roll, and it was delisious!! The service was amazing, and it was fast!! I'd say that they delivered our food in about 5 minutes. I would come here again and again and again. 100% would recommend.

Walked in, immediately was offered a table but we declined to sit down because the air freshener in here is overwhelming. I don't think air freshener belongs in a restaurant. It makes me question what they're trying to cover up?

Fast service, friendly ser, food was good
Criminally underrated. This place has been my favorite sushi place in all of Tucson for 15+ years. Never once been disappointed.
We ordered the jalapeño poppers which were great, but then we ordered fried red snapper and it was definitely not red snapper possibly whiting fish which would explain the price. The fish meal also comes with miso soup, salad, and steamed rice. When asked about the soup in my Togo order she said she’d do it for me this one time but usually soup is only included if you dine in which makes no sense if I’m still paying full price for the meal.
