I came to this restaurant from Houston to Tucson via New Mexico and Phoenix and ordered bibimbap, kimchi stew, and rice cake wrapper. In short, it is a delicious restaurant. The kimchi stew was a traditional taste from my mother, the rice cakes were eaten with admiration by my wife, and the bibimbap was delicious, but the only flaw was that it was too large. I had a very pleasant last meal in Tucson. Thank you also to the friendly owner.

The rice cake mandu soup was very good. And the bulgogi was the best I've had. :)

The food is delicious, the menu's formatting is borderline illegible. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I took my mother in law out to Kimchee time. Service was horrible, it took forever for us to see anyone after we were sat at our table. The server brought over our waters, asked if we were ready to order, then had to leave as she didn't have her pen. Took our orders then left, didn't ask us if we wanted anything else to drink. My husband had to flag her down, it took forever and a day to even get our food, one plate at a time. When everyone finally gets their food, we notice we're missing our spring rolls, asked about that and our server says Oh sorry, we didn't get any spring roll wrappers so we wanted to know if you wanted to order something else to replace it. We'd already been in there for over 45 mins, we declined since that was supposed to an appetizer. The food wasn't very good either, the shrimp noodles my mother in law ordered had maybe 1 piece or 2 of shrimp, hardly any noodles, mostly vegetables. The price and quality of food are no where close to each other. Not once did any of the servers come and check on us to see how the food was and if we needed anything. I was getting ready to walk out. I do not recommend this place. It used to be good when we originally went there 2 years ago, then it just became like every where else, poor service and lower standards for the food.

This Korean restaurant is average and just like every other korean restaurant. The teokboki was good and cooked well, hard to mess up! The Galbi tang had a clean and simple broth, the ribs could have used a little more flavor though it was a warm and refreshing soup. The Jajangmyeon had a sweet note to it and wasn’t the usual savory flavor it should be and had a small serving of pork in it. The side dishes were the usual side dishes but the Kimchi was not very good despite its name.

So we went to Kimchi Time for a late lunch/early diner. Place was not busy when we got there and we were seated immediately. Waitress asked if we wanted water and brought us two glasses a couple of minutes later. We ordered Korean Street Tacos as an app but we were told they were out of those. So we ordered the Korean Chicken Wings.

About five minutes later we went to order our entrees. My wife Kimchi Jigae and she was told they were out so she ordered the spicy beef and vegetable soup and some jeon; I ordered the sweet and spicy ribs.

Our chicken wings came out and we're delicious. About 15 minutes after our entree order was taken another member of the staff came over and explained that they were actually out of ribs. So I asked for the menu and ended up ordering Dookbaegi. The food was great.

Now here is the problem: we have been going to Kimchi Time since they were much smaller with white walls. The place was always hopping every time we went in, the staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was always fantastic and never out.

Now it has expanded and it looks like the college hangout vibe is being pushed. The staff are courteous but I would not call them friendly and they certainly are not attentive.

To be out of parts of the menu so early when you are not busy means there is a problem. At a minimum you should put a list up of what is unavailable instead of happy hour specials.

It will be awhile before we go back, instead we will go to our other favorite place on Speedway for our Korean food itch.

Was nearby this place and in the mood for something different, so I stopped in here for some Korean cuisine which I hadn’t had in a while. I ordered the Mandu for an appetizer and had the Spicy Stir Fried Squid for my meal. While the main dish was tasty, I must admit I was a bit surprised at the underwhelming size of the portion for $20. Also, I was really looking forward to the Kimchi and thought it should be pretty good from a place named Kimchi Time - however, I wasn’t impressed with the serving size or the flavor in this case. The service and atmosphere were okay, nothing to write home about.

Best Korean food in Tucson so far. The Deokkboki was amazing. Food is fresh and the service was great. My new favorite Korean restaurant.
