This bakery is one of our favorite things about Tucson. We've been coming here for several years when visiting Tucson during the winter. The staff is always friendly, and the pastries and fresh tortillas are amazing. The apricot chimichanga and the marranitos (piggy cookies) are our favorites, so they are a must try for anyone visiting for the first time. There is nothing bad to say about this bakery.
I love this bakery. The pan dulce, particularly the fruit empanadas (the cherry and mango are my favorite), and the flour tortillas are the highlights. I always make it a point to stop by on my trips to Tucson. I lived in Tucson for 8 years and I miss this bakery dearly. It is a gem.
I love everything about this bakery. Owner is the kindest person on the planet as well as her daughter. They all work so hard. I have been going there for over 20 years. Everything is fresh and tastes so good.
