La Indita Reviews
It's amazing to see a generous and caring business supporting the community. They are deserving of the same generosity and support.
FIVE STARS: The best Mexican cuisine in town. You must visit this family-run business. Authentic!
La Indita is the best. I always take family and friends from out of town here to showcase the best of Tucson Mexican and Native cuisine. Service is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and food is delicious. And, I don’t go anywhere else for mole!

La Indita is a restaurant known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Customers praise the freshness of the ingredients, the warm and kind staff, and the delicious food, especially the Indian Taco Vegetarian/Flat Ranchero Style, which is described as "lit." The restaurant offers complimentary chips and salsa while guests wait, enhancing the positive experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, making diners feel like they are sitting at a family table. The restaurant has been serving the community since the 80s and is celebrated for its homemade dishes, including tacos, flautas, and soups. Vegetarian options are available, with the possibility to make any dish vegetarian.
Recent reviews highlight the wonderful food and friendly service. Customers enjoyed the chicken mole, Chile rellenos, and beef with green chilies, noting the mole's great depth of flavor and a bit of heat. The perfectly charred warm corn tortillas complemented each dish well. For dessert, the flan was praised as "perfection," balanced and not too sweet. Many appreciate the attentive and caring staff, with one customer mentioning how the staff found a parking spot for their RV and ensured their chips and salsa were always full. The staff’s kindness extended further when they offered support during a difficult personal moment, refusing payment and showing genuine compassion. The Indian taco remains a highly recommended dish, and many plan to return to try more house specials.
