As we are staying at the resort I wanted to try this spot for breakfast. As far as omelettes go the food was good although perhaps on the saltier side. The small size of the orange juice and the fact that it was borderline room temperature was disappointing. Staff was great and atmosphere was fantastic. Pricing is... resort pricing, so take that for what it is.
La Luz Restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay at The Westin La Paloma! We visited for both breakfast and dinner during our trip and absolutely loved the food every single time. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and well prepared, and the service was consistently excellent.

Atmosphere, lovely. Food and display, lovely. Service not so good. Our drinks came 3/4 of the way through the meal ( meanwhile 3 other tables that sat after were being served ducks and food from the Valentine’s Day event) . We were interrupted 4 times by other people asking if we ordered this or that. Toward the end they seemed to forget about us, we had to ask about the main course, the middle course and dessert ( where they were, or when they were coming) our sever may not...
