I wish that they would have informed us that there's a 2 item purchase requirement per person. We got there early, so we went to eat next door at Kimchi Time which was great and then were surprised of the requirement!
Always a good night out with friends, or for a date night. Expansive food and drink menu, although prices are a little high. On the plus side they do have quite a few non- alcoholic options. They bring in some talented comedians.
My girlfriend and I were forced to sit with some other random people at our table. I purchased preferred sitting and we were seated at a table with two chairs, 20min later they came up to us and insisted to sit 4 additional people with us, NEVER going back to this place again
Want to reply to the owners reply which is a complete lie. First we were seated at table with TWO chairs, than a arrogant idiot came up and told me I either leave or accept sitting with complete strangers. Nowhere on their website or where in their establishment does it state that you will be seated with total strangers. I was there on a date night with my girlfriend and I purchased preferred seating. We arrived 30+ minutes before the show. There was no PHYISiCAL altercstion as they claim, I was not asked to leave but wanted my refund and left on my own accord. This place is ran by incompetent idiots.
As a loyal patron, I’ve consistently updated my reviews for Laffs Comedy Caffé with each visit, but unfortunately, this time was a major letdown. Tonight’s experience was far from the norm. From the moment we walked in, the entire vibe felt off. The lady at the front kiosk was unfriendly, the hosts lacked energy, the servers were inattentive, and even the headliner failed to deliver. The only saving grace of the night was the feature act, who showed genuine passion and drive.
The club atmosphere was entirely different from what I’ve come to love. A few family members attended the weekend prior and walked out mid-show due to similar issues, which I initially found hard to believe. Despite their feedback, I decided to give it another chance. Sadly, they weren’t wrong.
The service was disappointing: cold food, long waits for drinks, and minimal table service. We didn’t get our first round of drinks until halfway through the feature act and never saw our server again, not even for a water refill. This lack of attentiveness made the experience feel chaotic and unprofessional.
As for the comedy, aside from the feature act, the lineup felt underwhelming. It seemed like the comics were unpolished, which didn’t help the overall experience.
If this had been my first visit, it might have been my last. However, I’ve had too many great nights here to give up hope. I truly want to see Laffs bounce back and reclaim its spot as a top destination for a good time in town. I’ll be rooting for the return of its usual charm and energy, but for now, I’ll be more cautious about recommending it to others.
I don’t think I’ve ever left this place and not had a blast! The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. They take great care of us every time. Definitely the best place in Tucson to catch a comedy show!
Always a good time being there
Laffs us always fun, there food is pretty good too
This place is great. They always bring in great comedians, the staff is friendly, and highly recommend if you're looking for a good night out to laugh. 5/5 for sure.
Food was mid, sides were cold, but the acts on stage were at least as funny as the drink pricing. The husband and I are now using “tip your waitress!” as an impromptu dommy command, so thanks for that 🤣
Not a great experience. When making our reservation I told them it was my partner's birthday, and at the end of our show the entire room shouted "happy birthday!" to someone else and we were left out. Food was okay but the service was terrible. They forgot half our order then completely disappeared, so we sat for almost the entire show missing half our food and with no water or drinks. Jokes were mediocre. I chuckled a few times but started to doze off during the long stretches of repetitive "I'm a stoner" and "I'm only half Mexican" jokes. Yawn. Couldn't wait to leave.

Super accommodating host (gentleman at podium). Came to see the guest spot and loved every minute! Will be back.
Had a great night watching the comedy acts! All were funny. The food was good! Service was great. Not intrusive at all. It was a great date night!
Great shows.
Tables should be set up in a sun ray design, so all have an equal opportunity to watch without having to turn your chair around to see the show.
All else is great. Even fried food doesn't taste greasy. Good drinks.
My sister won 8 "free" tickets to Laffs comedy so she invited me, family and friends to attend a show this past Saturday. There were 7 of us total. We were informed that everyone had to order 2 items and everyone did order 2 items. 5 members in our group ordered drinks at the bar prior to being seated in the main showroom and then we all ordered food. The 2 members that didn't order drinks at the bar ordered in the main showroom. However, when we received our tabs from the waitress we noticed everyone had a $10 seating fee and $6 service fee plus what we already paid for food & drink. Not exactly what I'd call "winning free tickets." My sister talked with the woman at the front desk --a heavyset white woman-- as to why we were charged $16 for seating and service when she supposed won "free tickets." The lady said we were charged for seating because we didn't purchase 2 items and the "service fee" was standard. However, we all purchased 2 items. For some reason Laffs did not accept what we purchsed at the bar. They only include what you purchase in the main showroom. Unfortunately, my sister ended up paying for all 6 "seating" fees ($60) because she felt bad inviting us to a "free" show when it really wasn't "free" at all. Also, having a $6 service fee is ridiculous because we are all good tippers. All of us tip 20-25% on a regular basis so forcing us to pay a "service fee" on top of everything else is ridiculously extra. It is pretty pathetic that Laffs has to swindle their guests into walking through their doors by giving out bogus "free tickets." It's a scam. Whoever runs this business is a scammer. My family and I will not be returning to this dump called "Laffs." Furthermore, the comics that performed were below mediocre and did not make us "Laff" at all. Have fun scamming the next group who wins "free tickets."
Great place to go have a night out with your friends and I'm always getting free tickets. My favorite thing to eat there is the smokehouse burger.
