Tucson has the best food, an absolute hidden treasure in this city. I would be willing to drive any distance across the city to eat some anime level ramen at Maru. If you want good ramen, don't go anywhere else, no other ramin in Tucson comes close!

Had a craving for sushi and stopped to get 2 orders (4 pieces). I got 4 blobs of rice in a $15 paper box; the packaging was worth more than the food.Never again.

Got the veggie fried rice with tofu. Maybe 10 grams of protein from the tofu (not enough for $13). The tofu is tasteless and mushy. The fried rice is bland. Total waste of money, I'm very hungry and I won't even finish this.Vegetarian options: Not enough tofu, and its poorly prepared tofu. Bland and mushy. I guess if you want to just eat carbs this is fine. But the point of vegetarian options is to have vegetarian protein.

Customer service was great but our food was very unexciting to eat. Presentation was lacking and the flavor was non-existent.We will not be back.

It’s a hit or miss if they’re gonna get your order right or if you have to ask for the sauce that should have come with the items ordered. Twice they made the order incorrectly with the takeout order and it’s just too far for us to make the drive back to have it fixed. Will probably start going to the sister location on Campbell since it’s closer anyway and hope they’re more consistent. :/

My husband tried the Vegan Pumpkin Udon and I tried the Mushroom Krispy Noodle soup.
Great food. The staff behind the counter was super loudly carrying on conversations among themselves which were loud clear up to the front door.Vegetarian options: Vegan and Gluten Free as well.

Can only speak to take out experience as I have never eaten inside. I live around the corner and always want to give this place another try but after 6 separate times and each time the meals are borderline in-edible I have to leave a review of 1 star. This last experience this past weekend, I ordered ramen to go, came with only noodles, no veggies or tofu as described. When I poured the broth into the noodle container, there were so many noodles that the broth was completely sucked up and no broth was visible or drinkable with the soup. This is actually the 3rd time this specific thing has happened and the other 3 times the orders have been wrong. Would not recommend to anyone. Extremely over priced. I have given this place 6 different chances and every one has been very bad.
Tonkatsu Ramen is top of the line, and the spicy bomb had me sweating but it was delicious. My only complaint too many noodles not enough broth ..I know the broth is like liquid gold....I will ask for extra next time....How much is a side of broth?
Pretty good noodle spot
