Be prepared to wait. It is busy for a reason. Authentic and flavorful. Enjoyed the margaritas while waiting. Their estimated time to seat was pretty close - about an hour on a Friday night. It's a small place, but well run. The cheese crisp was an excellent app!

The food was edible but highly overrated. It took over 10mins for the lady to come and take our order. She was going to other tables that sat after us first. We got the presidential and flautas. Food did not have much flavor and the birria was very dry. Never was offered a refill on my water. Then the lady never came with the ticket to take up to pay.

Not sure what the hype about this place is. I don't have a complaint about customer service, the people in fact are very nice, but the waiting times are absurd, and the food was not good at all, not authentic Mexican to me. The menudo had a very ugly thick consistency, not good flavor, and had only around 4-5 pieces of meat which really upset me because the pansitasof the menudo is my favorite part, so I kindly asked for a different dish, and was not impressed by it either.

Being that it was our first time.We asked for a less spicy salsa. What did we get, warm marinara spagetti sauce.... ? with no spice to it...I also asked to substitute an item, bean tostas for 1 flautas. If you asked me its the same food item just prepared differently and you wanta charge me....Nope! not worth it. New Mexico Mexican food is best.
