I'm from the Seattle area and Michas is my absolute must go-to when I visit Tucson on average, twice a year since 2006. Portion size and quality has been consistently excellent. My Grandmother who grew up in Ajo Arizona consistently ranks Michas tamales as some of the best she has had. And she is fairly picky when it comes to traditional Mexican cuisine.

Micha's is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We split a cheese crisp (and took some home), I had tacos and hubby had a chili relleno. Everything was pretty good. The chile in his relleno was tough and stringy, unlike previous times. The service is usually decent and friendly, this day was no exception. Food is served hot and fresh from the kitchen. I used to use Micha’s as a regular location for a monthly get together with friends. We stopped several months ago because the prices had risen, seemingly much more than other locations we frequented.

Today, lunch for two, plus tip, was over $60, which included a roughly $2 credit card surcharge.

It will be awhile before we return.
