Monterey Court is a popular spot to enjoy live music, great beer, and tasty food in a comfortable outdoor setting. This unique venue, a repurposed 1930's era motor court, features misters and heaters, making it suitable for all seasons. It offers an excellent selection of local musicians, with acts performing over four times a week, providing a variety of impressive quality music, including blues, bluegrass, roots, and Americana. The menu is interesting, and the bar serves great drinks, making it a perfect place for a bite. While the service can be slow during busy events, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Although the patio area provides a pleasant atmosphere, some visitors feel speakers would enhance the live music experience. Reservations are wise, as many nights are sold out, and while there may be a cover charge, it is rarely more than $15 and worth every penny. Overall, Monterey Court is a great place to spend an inexpensive evening with friends or family.
