We’re from Albuquerque. We were in Tucson in 2018 and Nico’s was just down the street from where we were staying. We stopped in for Nachos one day and were blown away by how excellent they were. I went there earlier in the week. I got a shredded beef chimi. got home it weighed like 4 lbs. it was soaking wet somebody put so many onions and peppers in it and then throw it in the fryolator left so that the tortilla wasn't even cooked hard. the beef wasn't even shredded- big, stringy, flavorless chunks. it was truly disappointing.. wet and greasy I couldn't remember the name of the restaurant and I went back yesterday hoping for an owner or manager. the drive...read full review
How can these people call this mexican food, IT TAKES MORE THAN PUTTING SALSA ON MEAT TO MAKE IT MEXICAN!!!!!! FIRST WHEN MAKING ASADA, PLEASE THROW THE MEAT ON THE GRILL, DONT BOIL IT!!!!! .. I ORDERED THE CARNITAS TORTA, AND IT TASTED LIKE LEFT OVERS FROM A WEEK BEFORE.
