I was a regular customer of Nur Market since the previous Somali family started it. I was disappointed with my last visit seeing that it’s been sold but was still willing to give it a try. I ordered my food and sat down. I normally don’t call out small businesses but there was a German cockroach on the table. Very uncomfortable situation to be in. Hope they will take care of this issue. I couldn’t enjoy my food with the thought lingering in my mind...
Great place to find all authentic middle eastern and eastern ingredients. Their in house bakery makes the most delicious afghani bread. I haven’t tried their restaurant but the smells are promising. Bonus, they’re slightly cheaper than other ethnic grocery stores in town
I was driving down Speedway after dropping off a co-worker when I noticed out of the corner of my eye the Nur Market, a place I had often wondered about but never bothered to stop at. Today was different though. I had time and my curiosity was piqued. I parked and walked around the long way to the entrance and stepped into a curious place with an exceptional smell wafting on the air.
