I came in from out of town for a show so I wanted to eat before, and dang did I make a good choice. I can't express how good the Obon Ramen was. I just can't. Creamy, spicy, and oh my...the egg split open to reveal the velvety yolk that made the dish so much better. Bartender was incredibly cool, atmosphere is great. 10/10 recommend, and will be back.

We decided to try out Obon because they offered a special as part of the Sonoran Restaurant Week (see photo). We were not disappointed. The food was outstanding. We made a reservation for an early dinner on a Saturday night. As we walked to the restaurtant, we discussed the fact that a reservation probably wasn't necessary because most of the other estalishments along our route were empty. Not so at Obon. Granted we arrived before 6pm and they seem to have a nice happy hour...

Came in for Sonoran Food Week, had the edamame, miso soup, hamachi aguafresca, tonkotsu ramen, and panna cotta. Delicious. Our server was John, who was also the bartender- GREAT service. Very quick, personable, friendly, and nonintrusive. Seemed like he was managing a ton of stuff without breaking a sweat at all. What a great night.
