We recently dined at Outback Steakhouse to celebrate my husband’s mom, as it was her favorite spot. While the service was great—our server, Joel, and the staff were attentive and accommodating—the food unfortunately fell short.

There was a mix-up with my steak order, and although Joel accidentally rang in the filet chimichurri, he still brought out the ribeye chimichurri I originally ordered, which we appreciated. They even let us keep both steaks. However,...

Our server, Maddie, was just the right amount of attentive. I did have to remind her that I had ordered a glass of milk with the meal. Other than that, the overall experience was quite nice. I requested a 'doggie box' for what I ran out of room for. They gave us a little 'loaf' of the 'table bread' to take with the left overs. Expensive, but then, everything is these days.
