I have never had bad food here. The atmosphere is great. The service is very good. The Monte Cristo is amazing. Everything is good. Their pastries always find a way home with us. The cinnamon rolls are top notch. The patio is very nice.
Prep and pastry is a mediocre brunch spot. It has a good selection of brunch items and pastries. But we found the execution to be mid.
I would suggest sitting outside at this location if you want to have a conversation as inside is noisy.

Prep and Pastry was normally my go to spot for taking people out to breakfast as a welcome to Tucson. The atmosphere, staff, and pastries anre absolutely wonderful. The food is also delicious. Unfortunately though, we ate there right before graduation and got food poisoning. So it’s made the entire graduation experience a bit sour and has really put me off of prep and pastry. I’ve eaten there plenty and have never had issues but unfortunately, I think this will be my last.
