Stayed at the Marriott and ate here both nights. Excellent wine selection, excellent pasta selections and wonderful starters. Only downside was the pizza oven was down so didn't get to try it. Ate once at the bar, and once at the table...and I actually prefered the bar area. The Charred Octopus starter was probably the highlight from the meals, but they also have an excellent pappardelle. Extremely nice Italian restaurant where you can enjoy a great meal.
Amazing chef. Amazing view. Simply amazing culinary experience. The halibut with lemon risotto is to die for. (I will dream for a long time about this tart, creamy and yummy dish). My husband commented that the venison with a coffee crust was perfectly cooked and the best he'd had. The beet and goat cheese salad was divine. We'd had trouble initially booking (mistake on my end) and changed our date and were warmly received and welcomed. One in our party had many allergies...
Passaggio is a true gem of a restaurant experience. We chose to sit on the restaurant's garden terrace on a beautiful Arizona evening. The only difficulty was choosing what to order from the uniquely special menu. In the end I ordered the halibut with an amazing creamy risotto, both of which were delicious. The only thing the dish was missing was a vegetable to round out the overall taste and look of the plate.
