This place is okay, but nothing special like I was led to believe. It was hyped up as a long-standing Tucson staple, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. But it was honestly just as loud and acoustically echoey as the big corporate chains. It's not bad by any means, but nothing to make it stand out as great either.
I love it here. The baristas are both competent and kind, the espresso’s perfect, and the scones are out of control good. The patio is cute and with both shady and sunny seating. How Tucson got so lucky to have this place, I don’t know.
Strong yummy coffee and incredible baked goods. You can tell that they use good ingredients. Everything tastes real, and real good … 😋 Some of the staff can be “cold” but overall nice talented people.
