Just a warning - this is a very locals-only place... also this place is in what people consider the 'ghetto' of Tucson (12th Ave, S of Ajo) but this place will not disappoint with the flavorful ice-cream and fruit-based treats they sell. I recommend you try the Macedonia (see my picture)! The place looks dead from the outside.. inside, there are 2 tables and a counter where you can see the fruit varieties; The TV blares with some Spanish station.. and the customer base is 100%...read full review

In need of a cool treat, the family and I stopped in for a raspado (snow cone). The boys both had a vanilla milk with ice cream, the wife ordered a Tamarindo flavored, and I had a very ethnic Mango Yada (mango with Mexican candies). We were happy with our frozen creations, as each was made with care. For a small local place, this spot competes well with the bigger more established brands.
