Oh Salud, how disappointing you are. It is so sad that a restaurant with such amazing food is overshadowed by the lack of service. I ate here 2 nights in a row. The first night, our server was impossible to track down. I had asked for an extra side of dressing, which never came. I ordered a salad which also never came. They brought all of our food out at once including appetizers which made it nearly impossible to eat everything while it was warm. I really didn’t want to eat here the second night but none of the other restaurants were open so I was stuck. The second night was worse than the first. Once again, everything came out all at once. My husband ordered a burger which was not hot. I ordered nachos for our group to share, they were cold and mushy. I asked for no sauce on the mashed potatoes, they didn’t care about my request and brought it how it comes. I asked for dressing on the side of the salad that comes with the steak and they brought no dressing at all. I asked for a medium steak and they brought me medium rare. The servers here seem way too stressed out and it seems like there is not enough of them. The kitchen doesn’t seem to care about special requests and will bring your food the way it comes. So, if you do eat here order based on how it comes versus changing things because they simply won’t do it. Great view but good grief, the service here sucks!

What a way to view the beautiful sunsets of Tucson! Every night, a shot of a different flavor of tequila is offered to the patrons of Salud.........an enjoyable "extra" offered by Marriott Starr Pass. Miquel was our server for an additional round of drinks......he was friendly and on top of thongs.
We weren't hotel guests, rather we were staying nearby in a casita near the golf club. Still, because we had stayed here at the Marriott previously and had recalled the excellent experience, we wanted to return and enjoy the sunset, the festivities and a casually fine dinner in the Salud bar. Mission accomplished! The bar was jammed due to a large business group in the hotel. Nevertheless, we scrounged up four seats at a high-top and enjoyed over-the-top excellent service from our waiter even though he was badly outnumbered by thirsty and hungry guests. The cocktails were stiff and all food menu selections were delicious. So glad we went out of our way for a return visit. Highly recommended!
Amazing food, drinks,and views.

Salud exceeded our expectations. There were 6 of us. The burgers were cooked perfectly (the waiter said they could only be cooked well but they were not murdered - still a little pink), the fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had. The coating was crispy and not greasy like some batters.Cocktails were awesome too (esp the mezcal one). Kudos to the bartender and to our waiter, Justin, who provided excellent service although he was slammed. It is always refreshing to have great service this day and age. We are all ex-servers so recognized this immediately. The live music outside/view capped off a fabulous evening!

We stayed down on the golf course but went up to the resort two evenings to have dinner and just enjoy the city light views. Food was very good. Drinks were even better and the ambiance on a perfect desert evening can’t be beat. Even my pickiest eater was able to find things on the menu and you absolutely must save room for dessert. The churro beignets are amazing.
Very good dining option at this hotel. We had tacos and Caesar’s salad with tuna. Both were very enjoyable.
Just finished writing a review for the Marriot Resort and now noticed there is an option to write a specific one for the Salud Restaurant separately. Our server was Reyanna and she deserves a review for her wonderful attentive and kind serving. We drank and ate at this restaurant both nights of our stay because she was so gracious. The drinks were prefect and she went out of her way to recommend and serve the three of us. THANK YOU REYANNA. The view from this restaurant was spectacular also.

The valet guys were amazing and super sweet the staff in general was amazing! I felt very out of place because its so fancy and the people that were there were kinda judgemental but the staff made up for it:) also the view!!!
