Nice little place with big flavor!! Staff was friendly and helpful! Nice place to grab a lovely meal with the wife and just sit and talk. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere, definitely a chill vibe. Food was amazing! I had the braised lamb and it was absolutely fall of the bone tender!! We also got the hummus with lamd appetizer, totally would eat that as a meal on its own if it came as a dinner platter!!! The Falafels were the best we've had in Tucson, and I now have a long drive in the future for when the wife is craving Falafel!! And the drive (for us) is worth it!!

Very good food, but not everyone at the table had the same experience, we ordered a kebab, the rice was bland, and a small amount of meat, but the rest of the order was a great amount. The waiter was nice but ir took a while to bring us the cutlery, after the food was at the table

It’s sad to see all the yummy gravy poured in the bottom of the bag 😣 come on we’re almost in 2026! I hope you guys consider serving your customers a little better! Otherwise the taste was fine.

This is a super friendly and cosy place to grab a quick meal.

Dropped by at 4pm’ ish and there was no wait.

The belly dancer was a fun unexpected treat!

I’m much more forgiving than other reviewers. Times are tough so maybe they do have to be more mindful of portions.

Granted I had the veggie option.

Falafel, pita, hummus, tahini sauce all yum.
My fave were the pita chips ~

Will definitely be back to try out a meat option.

Over the years the food here is consistent and wonderful, fresh and satisfying. Cozy and intimate atmosphere. Tried the yogurt drinks for the first time and they were light, refreshing and cool with intense complimenting flavors. The falafel and dolmas are great starters while the Kebab and Gyro meat never disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised when a dancer began to perform around 6:30 on a Friday night. The only downside was I got so full had to take the rest home for my lunch tomorrow, which is really an upside 🙃.

Shish Kebab is our favorite go to place for Mediterranean food. Their upside down meat and fish dishes with rice are fabulous. Also their deserts are a must have.

This place is consistently good. Love the Jordanian chicken, babaganoush, and salads.

Poor service the food wasn't that good. Hot food shouldn't be served cold when dinning in. Manager didn't even care to speak with me in my regards to the poor service. 10/10 times would not recommend this place to anyone.

I used to visit this place years back. I think it is not the same quality and flavor. It Think it has lost its original authentic flavors. I had a gyro and greek salad and it all tasted Americanized; salty, greasy, and over powered with the fetta cheese in the salad. The taziki dressing taste like a blob of oily mayo instead of a refresing cucumber yogurt like condiment. The place decor hasnt changed a bit which is fine, the kids serving are friendly and attentive, but why not maintain the quality of food? More than likely I will not return or recommend.

Very dirty place foods on the flour and and rude waiters

On 5/1/25, I was in a car accident near Shish Kabob House in Tucson. The driver who hit me was followed by a friend or family member—who happens to be the owner of that business. Instead of doing the right thing, both are now lying to insurance agents about what happened. There were no other witnesses, and I’m still trying to track down any video footage from nearby businesses or apartments. It’s frustrating and disheartening to see a local business owner protect personal connections instead of standing up for what’s right. How can we support local businesses that don’t show that same respect and accountability to the community they serve? if she can so easily lie to an agency that can turn around and prosecute if/when the proof is shown, why would the community be so supportive of her. I highly recommend that this person doesn't get the community support she so much thinks she deserves! I wouldn't ever support an owner/operator of a restaurant knowing the lack of community support given back when I know what can be done in back of house in food industries to make sure she's got her butt covered in the event of a state inspection. please be careful with this person!
