Over the years the food here is consistent and wonderful, fresh and satisfying. Cozy and intimate atmosphere. Tried the yogurt drinks for the first time and they were light, refreshing and cool with intense complimenting flavors. The falafel and dolmas are great starters while the Kebab and Gyro meat never disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised when a dancer began to perform around 6:30 on a Friday night. The only downside was I got so full had to take the rest home for my lunch tomorrow, which is really an upside 🙃.

This place is consistently good. Love the Jordanian chicken, babaganoush, and salads.

Poor service the food wasn't that good. Hot food shouldn't be served cold when dinning in. Manager didn't even care to speak with me in my regards to the poor service. 10/10 times would not recommend this place to anyone.

I used to visit this place years back. I think it is not the same quality and flavor. It Think it has lost its original authentic flavors. I had a gyro and greek salad and it all tasted Americanized; salty, greasy, and over powered with the fetta cheese in the salad. The taziki dressing taste like a blob of oily mayo instead of a refresing cucumber yogurt like condiment. The place decor hasnt changed a bit which is fine, the kids serving are friendly and attentive, but why not maintain the quality of food? More than likely I will not return or recommend.

On 5/1/25, I was in a car accident near Shish Kabob House in Tucson. The driver who hit me was followed by a friend or family member—who happens to be the owner of that business. Instead of doing the right thing, both are now lying to insurance agents about what happened. There were no other witnesses, and I’m still trying to track down any video footage from nearby businesses or apartments. It’s frustrating and disheartening to see a local business owner protect personal connections instead of standing up for what’s right. How can we support local businesses that don’t show that same respect and accountability to the community they serve? if she can so easily lie to an agency that can turn around and prosecute if/when the proof is shown, why would the community be so supportive of her. I highly recommend that this person doesn't get the community support she so much thinks she deserves! I wouldn't ever support an owner/operator of a restaurant knowing the lack of community support given back when I know what can be done in back of house in food industries to make sure she's got her butt covered in the event of a state inspection. please be careful with this person!

Wonderful food & great service. Shop local & eat at small restaurant.

Great vegan/vegetarian dishes. Take you special friend for a relaxed meal.

I really wanted to like this place. That was not the case. The jamede was so watered down, the lamb had absolutely no flavor. And the gyro meat was pre-cut slices of gyro (I asked the waiter specifically before I ordered how they cut their meat, thin or thick off the spit, he said thin) I know my gyro meat, since I have served it my whole life. So it really annoys me when restaurants want to act like their gyro meat is cut fresh when it's absolutely not. I sent it back right away. We also ordered falafel that was undercooked (4 pieces for $9), as well as meat pies that were actually not meat pies, they were more like sumbosas (they were ok, but $9 for 2 is crazy). On top of that, the order came out very slow and the fries I asked for instead of the gyro (which should have been free for the inconvenience ) came out literally 5 min before we left ($6 for about 1/3 of a potato fried up is ridiculous). Very disappointed. We should have left as soon as we found out the Jordanian owner was no longer the owner.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I spent $50 on a lamb shank and other items, expecting high-quality food and service. First, the lamb shank didn’t even come with rice, which is usually standard. The hummus was clearly old and tasted off, making me question the freshness of their food overall.

When I returned to request a refund, I encountered one problem after another. The staff was unhelpful, and I had to go through an exhausting process just to get someone to take my complaint seriously. I eventually managed to speak with the owner, who wasn’t on-site. Unfortunately, the owner refused to issue a refund despite the poor quality of the food and the obvious mistakes in the order.

I left frustrated, cut my losses, and went to a fast food place instead. To make matters worse, I saw other customers dealing with similar issues, which suggests this is a common problem here. The lack of accountability and poor customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone—avoid it at all costs.

I've been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. If you enjoy Mediterranean food this is the place to go in Tucson. It always seems busy but have never had any problems getting in or waited on within a reasonable amount of time.

This is one of my favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in Tucson. All food is excellent quality and freshly prepared. The beef kabob I ordered was neatly trimmed and flavorful. The grilled vegetables with great flavor.

The hummus is also homemade and delicious. They also offer Arabic coffee and hot tea.

This hidden gem is at the back of the retail area across from Park Place Mall and near Verizon.
