Sunny Daze Café is a convenient stop before heading to the airport, offering a pleasant surprise to first-time visitors. The restaurant serves tasty dishes, including the popular chicken fried steak with added sausage in the gravy, which is highly recommended. The menu features a big selection, including both American and Mexican-inspired breakfast options, such as menudo and biscuits and gravy. The atmosphere is nicely themed with a retro vibe, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of all customers, whether regular or new. Many visitors find the food to be excellent, with the chicken fried steak and skillet receiving special praise. The dining area is large, with a Polynesian-themed decor that adds a unique touch. Over-sized mugs for coffee and generous portions make the experience even better. The cozy Mom & Pop feel, combined with great service and plentiful, diverse options like Southern chicken and waffles, chorizo, and biscuits and gravy, makes it a favorite breakfast spot in town. Overall, Sunny Daze Café is a tasty, friendly place worth trying.
