“The first time I came to eat here was about 5 years ago. I hardly ever write reviews but this place deserves it. Great service. Great food. I get the tacos combo: 2 tacos (your choice of meat and style), Sonoran dog, and a soda. I also order French fries, but that’s mostly because they have those classic diner fries from the 80’s/90’s. Haha. They have a KILLER salsa bar. Different salsas, guacamole, cucumbers, mushrooms, cheese…All the goods! I don’t live on that side of town, so I drive 35 minutes but if I did I would weigh 600 pounds. I could eat there everyday and have something different for months/years. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!! Indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor is covered with misters and fans.“

So many people put all the flavor in the meat, they forget about the vegetables. Anyways after my somewhat awful experience at another Mexican restaurant, this is was on point. “I liked the tacos although a bit spicy for me but don’t go by my milder preference, because the shells were great, the portion size was great, the flavors were good - I mean it’s not fine dining and it is definitely flavorful. In my case it was the rolled tacos that I found much better than the regular chicken tacos.“

“I used TA in May 2019 (pre-Pandemic) to cater our Post Cinco de Mayo party and Francisco (owner) went out of his way to make our experience memorable. His taco truck and his carne asada, al pastor, and chicken tacos were delicious as were his quesadillas and refried beans. He provided all the accoutrements. We just held our first Post Cinco de Mayo party since the Pandemic on May 7, 2022 (two days ago). Again, Francisco's taco truck and tacos were the hit of the party. He served the same menu as we had requested it. He served for 1.5 hrs. and charged $9.00 per person. We didn't run out of food for the 38 attendees. I should mention that my wife is Mexican as is my 101-year-old mother-in-law and 8 other native Mexicans who were in attendance, and they all raved about Francsico's tacos/food. I rest my case! Highly recommended and we'll use Francisco in the future.“

I always eat tacos de cabeza, because they're the bomb, and lots of meat. But today I tried a different taco that had cheese and it looked like they were dipped in birria juice. Man they were so good, I can't wait to try them again. And definitely not expensive.“

“Always worth the drive. My family and I followed them from when they were located on Benson hwy and Columbus. We were so lucky to find them after a year of looking for them. The food is great. The staff always gets it right and customizes our order with special requests. There are great variety of items to order: tacos, burritos, tortas, sonoran hot dogs, combo dishes, shrimp dishes, tostitos, birria and corn cocktails. Try them..you won't be dissapointed.“

“One of the best Tucson taco shops. The shredded beef tacos are delicious and made the authentic way (cooked with the meat inside). When your food is ready, they always go through it with you to make sure everything is there, so you don't get home only to realize your kids' dinner was left out (or- more often- YOUR dinner). Everything we've gotten is delicious* and accurate! Also, the prices are great. I highly recommend Fito's! *The only thing I don't recommend is the cheese enchiladas; the cheese is never fully melted. But I bet you could ask them to make sure the cheese is melted...
