Been living here in Tucson for 9.5 years. Never been here till today. Ive always driven by this establishment and always wondered. Well today was the day. My 3yr old son and myself, rolled on in. Environment was nice and cool, clean. Staff was friendly. The menu is straight to the point. The food is grateful and delicious. Our food was ordered and within 5 minutes out food was out. my son ate his carne quesadilla and i had my food and we ate peacefully. The cooks were jamming...
Food is good, service is meh...you order at the counter, you pay a fortune and when your food comes, beware, the portions are fit for a bird, AND you still have to go grab your fixings to top- off your naked food!

We went to eat at El Hefe to show/experience a visitor elote --- Rancho had an ear for $6! No flavor; no tajin; no Bueno.
Sorry...it was very disappointing. Not bad, per se, but not good.
