We came to Tucson as a side day trip during a vacation and found this place on maps, and I am glad I did. You get a good portion for the money, and the salsa bar was a pleasant surprise. The food was cooked fresh and it tasted incredible. If I find myself in Tucson again someday, this is a must revisit!
I was in the area and decided to try a taqueria I haven't been to yet. Now I can't wait to go back! The carne asada tacos were delicious, very tender beef, topped with a little cabbage - just perfect. The Chile Colorado was tender as well, with great chile flavor. I had a carne asada torta I could barely finish. The bread was toasted & very good. It had tomato, lettuce & avocado with a side of jalapeño rajas.
