Birria, carne asada and adovada were all excellent. The spiciest salsa was pretty hot but not overwhelming, and the other salsas were excellent. Nice spot to sit inside and listen to the mariachi music.
This is a small very clean restaurant. It has a salsa bar unique delicious. flavorful & spicy salsas. I had to eat them all on cucumbers as it is a taqueria & don’t serve chips!
I had a carne asada torta I could barely finish. The bread was toasted & very good. It had tomato, lettuce & avocado with a side of jalapeño rajas.

We came to Tucson as a side day trip during a vacation and found this place on maps, and I am glad I did. You get a good portion for the money, and the salsa bar was a pleasant surprise. The food was cooked fresh and it tasted incredible. If I find myself in Tucson again someday, this is a must revisit!
