This restaurant was unique, the food was delicious and our server, Bella, went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful.
Very nice, interesting historic place. Everything was very good. We picked this place because it was recommended on Open Table for views. There really wasn't any which to me made it on the expensive side and not worth the drive.
Our favorite place to eat in Tucson. Always a pleasant experience. It reflects a true "Out West" feeling in a beautiful setting!
My wife and I went to Tanque Verde Ranch for Sunday Brunch on 05/18/2025. The food was delicious and the Omelet Station was the best. Food was fresh, hot and well presented. Our server was Kaylee and she was polite, professional and provided very good service.
Beautiful outdoor patio, with mountain views

We were greeted with smiles and welcomed like family. All of the staff were helpful and so professional, making our brunch a wonderful experience. We couldn't have asked for more in any way.
We got there at about 8:30 a.m. I was told the day before that there would be the breakfast buffet but when we got there it wasn't available because they did not have enough guests there at that time. There were only about two or three tables that had people there so it was very nice and quiet. The coffee was excellent as were the potatoes. I ordered an omelette with lots of things in it. It could have been a little warmer but all in all it was very good. It's very relaxing to go out there and just enjoy the atmosphere and the ambience.

The dining room at Tanque Verde Ranch is lovely, with old beams and a thatched ceiling. The furniture is rustic, and I love the fact that there is plenty of space and no TVs! The service was friendly and attentive. The special salad was excellent. I chose the bucatini with pork belly, which was delicious - too much and I had to take a box home. My husband had the filet mignon, which he said was tender but didn't have much flavor. The price of the steak was rather high. Wine was good.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch. It was quiet the service was spectacular, and the food was really delicious. The dining hall doesn't have the best views on the property, but if you go to the bar, there's lovely views of the mountains. What made this evening stand out was the service and how polite the workers at the ranch were. The burgers were also quite tasty.
Food was decent. Service was horrible for dinner. Breakfast and lunch service was awesome! At Dinner we had already finished our meal and had to get up to go find our waitress to get a refill on our drink. The only time she came back after that was to drop off the bill.
We liked the dining room. The service was outstanding. We don't know where you find your service people, but they are the best! The food varied from good to outstanding with most of it being in the very good to outstanding range. The quantity was huge, so everyone got plenty to eat. The one area where the food could be improved are your desserts. Most were not great.
Service from the kitchen was very slow. I had the pork chop which was at least 2 inches thick. Tasty yet bit dry. Server was good. Need to clean the dusty rails of the chairs and dirty window sills. Windows need cobwebs and deep cleaning. After returning from 3 years away, surprised at what was once a top experience. I am a native of Tucson and moved to another state due to preference of a cooler more humid climate. I am aware summer is off season. Seems understaffed.
