We were greeted with smiles and welcomed like family. All of the staff were helpful and so professional, making our brunch a wonderful experience. We couldn't have asked for more in any way.
We got there at about 8:30 a.m. I was told the day before that there would be the breakfast buffet but when we got there it wasn't available because they did not have enough guests there at that time. There were only about two or three tables that had people there so it was very nice and quiet. The coffee was excellent as were the potatoes. I ordered an omelette with lots of things in it. It could have been a little warmer but all in all it was very good. It's very relaxing...
The dining room at Tanque Verde Ranch is lovely, with old beams and a thatched ceiling. The furniture is rustic, and I love the fact that there is plenty of space and no TVs! The service was friendly and attentive. The special salad was excellent. I chose the bucatini with pork belly, which was delicious - too much and I had to take a box home. My husband had the filet mignon, which he said was tender but didn't have much flavor. The price of the steak was rather high. Wine...
