Everything about The Dutch is extraordinary. The food, the service, the atmosphere. I'm so happy that I found it.

Recommended dishes: Overnight Chia Pudding, The Dutch Dip
I had their French dip sandwich. The au jus seemed like lightly colored water, with no taste. The meat wasn't cooked properly and somewhat grisly. I had to salt and pepper it for taste. My first clue should have been that there was only one other couple there for dinner, at 5pm. Waste of time and money.

This restaurant was amazing, and we will be back again. Let's start by first talking about the hostess. My family saw the place from the street and thought to give it a try. We walked in and were promptly greeted. We didn't have reservations but were still seatedand the hostess told us very kindly that Friday's and Saturday's were busy; although we were seated promptly, they get busy and to make reservations. We were sat and our waiter was not only friendly, making recommendations, but fast. The food. You can tell that the chef and his sous-chef are passionate about this food. The food I will be raving about for a while. The food have combinations I was skeptical about but man was it amazing. My kids tried and loved dishes that their growing taste buds needed. We have a restaurant that we will be definitely will be coming back to in the future.
Parking: There was a lot of free parking and close to the door options
Kid-friendliness: We have two kids 8 and 10 the atmosphere was so welcoming to them. Our waiter was patient with them, and their experience made them want to come back this restaurant.

Tries to be different. Small menu bit over priced for what you get. Club sandwhich was cold, sourdough bread is tough when cold. Turkey tasted off, had strange flavor, fries where cold and tasted like they haven't changed oil in fryer. Maybe 4 tables on a Friday night and still we felt ignored by waitress so left.

This is my new favorite place in Tucson. If you catch happy hour between 3-5pm, I recommend any of the starters. The jalapeno poppers are the best I've had anywhere and the brussel sprouts are nearly perfect. The shrimp skewers were amazing as well.As for the meals, they are mostly better versions of some traditional foods. The breakfast bowl is a gourmet scramble with amazing sausage and the madam Croque is a better version of a Monte Cristo. Everything I have had so far is great. The portions are good and the price is definitely fair for what you get. One of the best happy hours in town. You just have to get there before 5pm.

We just spent $20 for two kids meals. Each meal was supposed to be Mac and cheese with fruit. See pics for what we actually got. Each meal was Kraft Mac and cheese (container half filled) and two sad pieces of watermelon. This meal literally costs no more than ~.50 to make and we feel totally scammed. Not worth it, spend your money somewhere else.Edited to add: we returned the meals and they refunded our money, so at least there's that.
We had heard good things about The Dutch and as it was equidistant from our home in Oro Valley and our friends in Green Valley we decided to try it out. Upon arriving for our early reservation we were met with friendly staff and our server made it a great time. She was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive but not at all annoyingly. We each had amazing meals including the best Cubano I've enjoyed since moving to AZ in 2007. We paired dinner with the offered Malbec which was a much welcome discounted perk. This is a place we will definitely come back to.
Probably the smallest roast beef sandwich I've ever seen with way way way too much horseradish sauce. I didn't have enough of the menu to really judge hence why I am still giving them 3 stars. The place was clean and staff was very nice. I might give them another chance.

Brunch on a late Saturday morning was wonderful. I had no idea this place had popped up while I was obviously not paying attention. We appreciated that you could make reservations but we did not need them. The staff was friendly, our server was the right kind of attentive, given my friend and I had not seen each other in a long time and it was a catch up brunch.Ordered the Brussels appetizer which was yummy. I had the Tucson Breakfast Bowl and my friend had one of the Benedicts. Very tasty on all fronts. All in, it was solid service, good food and I do love that we have this type of restaurant on the east side. I need to roll back here for another meal.
Everything we picked out was perfect. Even chose The Bartender drink and surprised us with the best choice, the Quail Wellington and THE Porkchop were perfection. So glad we found this place for our anniversary dinner.

4/13/23 - Tried this place out cause it was close to the hotel. The food was amazing and service was good. I usually don’t order steaks from non steakhouses and even when I eat steaks, it’s usually a filet, not a ribeye. Took a chance and ordered the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and not too fatty. The spicy chimichurri was delicious. The potatoes were tasty and the crème brûlée was top notch… it was a tad thin but still delicious. Left here feeling fat and happy.
This is our 2nd time here. Parking is definitely a challenge depending on the day and time. I would recommend calling ahead and making a reservation for sure. Staff was decent. Hostess was very pleasant upon greeting and leaving after dinner. A bit cramped unless you eat outside or 1 of the 3 booths. Full bar setup. Open kitchen in many cases is nice, however, not sure if the ventilation was down both times we ate here as the cooking smoke was rather stuffy, even with the middle bay garage style door opened. Now food wise, excellent. I would recommend the salmon all day. I would highly recommend allowing additional options like if someone wanted shrimp added for a reasonable fee rather than the entire meal being the only way to add something to the meal selection...just a suggestion. If not for the smoke, I would easily 5 ?.
