The Lotus Garden Cantonese and Szechuan

Knowing that Lotus Garden is closing next week, I was hoping to try their cuisine. I had a reservation for 6:30. We were seated right away. Our server made an appearance after 20 minutes. We placed our order at that time, then waited 45 minutes for our drinks. We had to ask if we could at least get our soups. Those came 15 minutes later. Waited another 30 minutes for food that never arrived. We left. Sad that I could not try this restaurant before they closed.

Food was good except for egg flower soup. Service was spread thin with only one server for the crowded lunch. The owner of this place is retiring and closing the business at the end of May after being open for about 50 years.

I have been a loyal, longtime, always happy, customer since I was in college! Unfortunately, tonight was a HUGE, awful disappointment!!! Did not realize there were announcements made today about the restaurant closing at the end of the month.

I will miss this restaurant when it closes for good on May 31. The food, service and friendly atmosphere has always been excellent. Lotus Garden will be missed by Tucson residents after being here 50 years.

Nice atmosphere but are close at the end of month. After 51 yrs. First time, order was messed up. When I got home found out ugh!!

Every visit to Lotus Garden is a good one, whether it's dining in, takeout or delivery. Their hot and sour soup alone is worth it! We enjoy the little gift shop while waiting, and the staff is so friendly it's like being an invited guest. There aren't a lot of places in Tucson that have great food AND great service, this is one of them.

Absolute best Chinese restaurant in Tucson! Always clean, excellent customer service and the best little gift shop inside the restaurant, selling high quality teas and tea pots and other really cool gifts and things.

I have Celiac disease and several other food allergies. The staff was very knowledgeable and easily accommodated my needs. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend The Lotus Garden and will definitely return when I am in Tucson again.

This place came highly recommended. As a native never been. It was very clean, lunch special is awesome and I have to day my server Rick was one of the best ! He was polite, kind, knowledgeable of food and drink menu and truly shows he loves what he does !💕 I'll be back

My husband had eaten here when he was a young boy with his family. He said the food was as good as he could remember. It was nice to know that it is still owned by the same family as it was years ago. I thought the food was fabulous. I haven't had food that good in a long time. If you're looking for somewhere new or an old favorite - you have to eat here!!

Best in Tucson for foof, service and ambiancd.

This place consistently offers great food with excellent service. It has a family-run restaurant feel and you can tell everyone takes pride in their jobs. The restrooms were clean, as was the rest of the dining area. We have been eating here for the last 5 years or so and have never been disappointed.

Good food and good service but be prepared to pay a bit more for it.

Food is quite authentic Chinese if you ordered the correct dishes. Do consult the owner for assistance if in doubt. Ordered shrimp, beef, bok choy, long beans and all turned out just the way we cooked ourselves. Well done to the chef.

This place is amazing!!!!!! So I originally ordered through a delivery service and literally 2 hours passed and nothing I called the delivery service and said I still want my food because well A. It's Valentines Day and we are celebrating. And B.We are jistbhungry and did not want to wait longer for a new order. Driver never shower up. Thank fully the awesome staff Of Lotus Garden Saved our food date! And they re fired our food!!!!that turned out to be delicious!!!! Thank you!!! Very much referring to everyone!!
