Service and food were excellent. This is a must try place in Tucson. If you have a larger party, they do have a room you can reserve.

Only have door dashed but food has been stellar, EVERY SINGLE TIME!Something about the watermelon salad with the crispy pork belly, is insane. So freaking good, one of my favorite dishes I’ve probably ever had.Thank you guys

It's easily one of the best cajun places I've been to outside of Louisiana. I'm not stuck up or anything by any means, but if you've ever been to the boot and had some authentic gumbo from a mom and pops shack, then you know what I mean. I can honestly say that the catfish po boy and gumbo I had here really took me back to the bayou and made my soul sing. I'll be going back by myself, with my family, and with anyone who visits from out of town.Dietary restrictions: They do have options for Celiac disease even though they don't have a dedicated fryer or anything.

They were on the busy side so one additional server would have help but our server was very good and provided us with excellent service. We went for the Gumbo and it was very good as usual.Parking: The business is in with other businesses but had no problem finding a parking spot. They did have one space reserved for pickup.

Not only was the service from Katie and Justin great but this salad is perfection. I live in Los Angeles and will definitely be making a trek back to Tucson just for this salad.

The food was amazing. The service was great and awful in different ways. Our server was great and knowledgeable about the menu. However, the hostess at the hostess stand couldn't have been ruder. It was also very busy. I'm giving it 5 stars because the food was great, which I believe is the most important factor.

They had a pounding drum type music playing, but when we requested that it be turned down it was turned down, so that was a plus. We got there early on a Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. Three out of the four dishes were great, that was the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, steak and frits. The pulled pork was just above average. It could have been worse. They didn't really have any barbecue sauce. I'm probably spoiled from living 22 years in Tennessee. The waiter was great, he kept our water glasses full the whole time. There were three young lady hostesses that were smiling. You could smell the good food cooking even before you entered.Parking: We came at 5:00 p.m. and there was plenty of parking right at 5:00, but it might have gotten tight because people were waiting to get in before we left. That was on a Sunday. 5:00 p.m. seems like a real good time to come on Sunday if you want to get right in and find easy parking. That was our experience.

We have been frequent diners, but our first visit on a very busy Sunday night. We sat at the bar in order to bypass a 45 minute wait for a table in the dining room. We were greeted promptly by Dylan, who gave us menus and took our beverage orders. He got a little side tracked serving other customers, but once he took our food order the food came out from the kitchen quickly. My wife's Big Hippy Burger was disappointing, as the eggplant patty was too mushy and the bun fell apart. My Beer Batter Catfish was delicious and a generous portion with a tasty creamy tarter sauce. We both changed our side dishes to side salads (large amount of mixed salad) with the house creamy garlic dressing (good, but lacking some flavor... mostly mayo ? ). Our server got lost and was not very attentive as the evening went on. We had to struggle to get his attention for beverage refills, to request more salad dressing (containers too small), and to ask about desserts. We decided to try the Pickle Berry Pie and also ordered a cup if decaf coffee for my wife. It took a while for the pie to come out of the kitchen, Dylan forgot to serve the coffee, and the dessert was extremely disappointing (small slice, lacking berries too much goat cheese topping with dill ? ), and not worth $10.00. We would never order this expensive dessert again... better to maybe try the bread pudding or corn bread.

The food was absolutely stellar. Definitely in the top 10 places I've eaten at. Our server, Lawson, was passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable. I stopped in Tucson just for the night after driving 10 hours since it was on my way, but I would definitely drive 10 hours to just to go here again!

We just had an exceptional meal at The Parish. The fried catfish had a perfectly crispy exterior, with the fish tender and succulent. The tartar sauce was a revelation, with a flavor profile unlike anything out of a jar. Tart yet creamy, and an ideal counterpoint to the fish. The shrimp and grits were as great to eat as they were beautiful to look at, and the accompanying collard greens were simply delicious. Our server was helpful and friendly, and the manager promptly took care of a small issue with a graciousness and generosity that speaks of the pride he takes in his establishment. Can’t wait for our next trip to Tucson so we can pay another visit to The Parish!
