Tamales themselves are good, we tried the green chicken, green pork, and red beef - all great and a decent price. I think the sides were a little lacking - out of the rice, chips, and slaw we liked the slaw best.The mild red sauce is good for chips, the medium green sauce was great for tamales (and really didn't seem that spicy at all, added a lot).I'd be curious to come back and try the street corn nachos.

As a long time buyer and fan, I found the last batch of Green Chile & Cheese to be different, a bit watery, maybe cheese is different. Perhaps a new chef or a bad batch. Price point for these also moving up very quickly. Given the change and increased price, not as good as they were. Bottled selection of hot sauces excellent. Service efficient.

When my partner and I decided to try this place for lunch, I was in a bad mood....after a few moments in this quaint little eatery, tortilleria, and market, the bad mood had vanished!This place is outstanding! The tamales and Build Your Own Burritos ? were delicious....more important, when the woman at the counter assured my partner that her burrito ? would be mild and NOT spicy, she told the truth.We shall be returning to Tucson Tamale for both meals, the locally made salsas and chips they stock because of the friendly and knowledgeable service, good food, and homemade tortillas.I highly recommend this establishment. ? ?

The hype is real; I'm a fan. - delicious beef, chicken and blue corn (veggie) tamales - delicious black and pinto beans - delicious Mexican slaw - delicious salsas - expansive inventory of hot sauces. While not the biggest I've ever seen it's still a lot of hot sauces. Friendly folks here. Reasonable prices.

Tuscon Tamale is a nice spot to grab legit tamales. They have a great selection, including a vegan option, and the sides and salsa are all freshly made - including the chips. They also have a huge selection of hot sauces to buy and a big case of the samplers to use with your meal. I wish they had prices labeled on the shop side, but they do have a friendly staff, so asking is not difficult. They have nice clean, single person bathrooms and the nicest murals in them. It's definitely a stop worth making if you are in the area.Vegetarian options: There are vegan tamales.Dietary restrictions: There are vegan tamales and made separately from all other prep areas.Parking: There's a medium amount of parking, but it's a busy area, so you might have to loop or wait for a few minutes.Wheelchair accessibility: Even lot with easily accessible doors.

Came in from PHX for the day to try different food well surprise this place is well not good at all . I wounded how it got to the 4 stars . Meet was mushy , rice was dry and bean no good . And we got there when they just open on Sunday morning
