Caught Tucson Tamale Company as a food truck recently and it was such a nice surprise. I was actually a little sad to hear their eastside brick-and-mortar location closed, but I’m glad they’re still popping up at events and around town because these tamales are definitely worth tracking down.

Tamales were delicious. My husband had a problem and a chicken while I had vegetarian. Service was fast. Order at the counter and they bring it to the table. Average seating with a few tables outside on the small patio.

I purchased their tamales at Costco after doing a taste test.
The product was yummy!
So I bought a box.
Got home and steamed the tamales. The masa was terrific.
However, it was billed as Authentic Handmade Chile and Cheese.
Problem: No cheese.
