The fact they I am neither a vegan nor vegetarian but this is my go to restaurant in downtown Tucson, is a testament to how fresh and flavorful the food here is. I always feel better after eating here. I recommended the soups, and just do yourself a favor and get the large portion.

LOVE the smoothies here. They are exceptional. Had the Ginger Snap twice. I love to be adventurous and try new things, but after one sip I was locked onto the Ginger snap and could not get enough. My wife had the Tropical Kreme smoothie and she was equally obsessed. Also, the smoothies are so, well, smooth that you can easily savor them through the ridiculously thin straws that come with them. What an amazing plant-based lunch! I can't believe that I have been working for over a year in downtown Tucson and this is the first time trying Urban Fresh.
The huli huli tofu tacos (today's lunch special) were amazing and the pineapple fried rice paired perfectly. While I was checking out, I noticed that they had vegan gumbo as the soup-of-the-day.
