Idk if it was a different cook but the portions I received in my take out were tremendously small, I usually go in the evening but this time I went in the morning, when I opened the take out everything was in such stingy portions when I went to confront them about they denied everything 0/10

Great food. This is exactly the type of small, nondescript, excellent Mexican restaurant you hope to find when you're in Tucson. The chicken burrito was moist and delicious and so we the refried beans.

Honestly the Mexican food was ok in some places but terrible in others. Their tamales are extremely dry and lack flavor.. I juat bout 2 dozen and i was very disappointed. I ordered a torta while waiting and it was pretty plain but not terrible luke the tamales.
I'm a chef, I get out late from work so I stop by viva sometime because its near my home, and every time I go they "just cleaned the fryer". That's usually around midnight so I understand, however the last time I went it was 7pm on a Thursday and they pulled the same stunt, telling me it would take 20 minutes to the fryer back on. In my experience 7pm on a weeknight is late dinner, so I don't understand why they chose to clean the fryer around 6:30pm. We will no longer be going to this location.

I ordered two breakfast burritos. One was supposed to be chorizo and steak breakfast burritos. I got 2 steak breakfast burritos. Before they were $4 and huge. Now they’re $7 and half that size. Not ordering from here anymore.
